I recently went on a trip to Jaipur, India—a place where hustle isn’t just a buzzword; it’s survival.
Here, there’s no safety net. No government handouts. No one to bail you out. Everyone is working—not for luxuries, but to put food on the table and carve out a better life.
What happens when you take away the safety blanket?
In the Western world, comfort zones are the biggest trap. When you know there’s always a fallback, do you ever truly push your limits?
Here’s the truth: Comfort dulls ambition.
If you want to discover what you’re really capable of, remove the safety net.
Operate as if your next deal really matters.
That’s what my training does—it takes you out of your comfort zone, sharpens your mindset, and gives you the tools to thrive under pressure.
You’ll realise in the training that unless you learn to tolerate—and eventually enjoy—the pressure, you’ll never reach the heights you dream about.
There’s some truth to the saying ‘No pain, no gain.’ As one BJJ black belt put it, ‘If you aren’t willing to risk it, you can’t eat the biscuit.’
Because when you stop leaning on safety, you start discovering your real potential.
If you really want to uncover who you are, what you’re made of, and what you could become—ask yourself this:
If chaos and uncertainty can become your comfort zone, what could possibly stop you? It doesn’t mean you won’t be scared, but it’s better than being sad or living a life of regret.
As I say to many of the people I train: ‘If not now, when?’
Better to fight for your dream than abandon it.
