At the end of the day, do you really know what is important to you?

Have you ever struggled to understand how to prioritise career, work, family, and health in a busy life without feeling overwhelmed or like you’re missing out on something?

I was speaking at the Sales Kick-off Event for Symbio on the psychology of personal performance and goal attainment.

What is that thing you are missing in your life? If you knew it, would you do something about it?

Have you compromised your values? The consequences are:

  • Wasted time
  • Wasted opportunities
  • Poor relationships
  • Irreparable relationships

A distinct lack of happiness? Maybe regret?

All because you were never taught the importance of… TIME. Time to identify the truly important priorities. Compartmentalising your time for maximum effect.

Whether it’s to have the best quarter or build a relationship.

What I have learned from teaching thousands of salespeople all over the world is the importance of prioritising in goal setting:

  • Have a few goals to focus on
  • Build tactical plans to achieve anything
  • Aim for a minimum easy first action

Paulo really understands what is important to him and what he needs to do to build that relationship with his mum.

Do you think this will help him in his job? Absolutely! It will probably increase his level of motivation, make him more productive, and possibly take his enjoyment of his job and life to another level.
