Three Inspirational Quotes on Success and Performance (To Inspire Salespeople to Success)

Words have such immense power.

As a salesperson, you need to truly connect to the words that you deliver to keep a client engaged.

It’s only when you believe fully in what you say that you can succeed.

However, the words you read have so much power as well. In fact, taking inspiration from those who’ve already found success can do so much for a salesperson.

Here, I’m going to share a few choice quotes from some successful and inspiring people. Use them to help you become a better salesperson.

"What we dwell on is who we become." - Oprah Winfrey

Everybody makes mistakes during their careers. Most salespeople have a laundry list of clients that they lost because they got something wrong.

When you dwell on these mistakes, they become part of your identity. They affect your ability to adapt and force you into a negative mindset.

Oprah’s saying that it’s important to recognise and learn from your mistakes. But allowing them to define you means that you can never overcome them.

"Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible." - Tony Robbins

It’s impossible to make any sort of change if you don’t have an end goal in mind.

Robbins recommends setting goals because it takes something that’s intangible and makes it seem achievable.

Setting a goal is only the first step though. Sometimes, you create fear when you create a goal. The only way to overcome this is to push through that fear and not think about it too much.

"Change before you have to." - Jack Welch

This is such simple but such excellent advice.

Changing when you’re forced to means you’re always behind the rest of the pack.

A successful salesperson recognises the need to adapt before anybody else. And they’ll make changes proactively rather than waiting until they have to adapt.
