How many times do you need to experience failure before you realise that what you are doing is not working?

Is it a day?
Is it a week?
Is it a month?
Is it a year?
Is it two years?
Is it five years?
Is it ten years?

Everyone is different in their awareness and willingness to change and do something entirely different.

Some people will always follow the herd and continue doing what they do because they either don’t know any better or recognise they need to change, but the fear of change is more powerful than the possibility of success.

Inherently, people’s desire to change is dictated by their ability to manage their fears.

The blunt evidence is that the game of business, and especially sales, will expose you, whether you like it or not.

You’ll either succeed or fail. Sales, much like professional sports, pays based on results only. Hard work does not necessarily pay off for many tennis players. In fact, only the top 100 earn a decent amount of money compared to other sports. Plenty of tennis players work hard without any return. Some are born with talent, work hard, receive the right coaching and support, and succeed. Some, even with these advantages, don’t succeed.

So, life is pretty brutal. You want to stack the odds in your favour by doing everything you can to succeed. Often, the main challenge you need to deal with is fear.
