Boosting Results With Meditation

While most sports teams focus solely on the physical, the LA Lakers have long understood the importance of the mental game.

Without emotional resilience, it’s impossible to overcome the biggest challenges that you’ll face. In the Laker’s case, many of their best players use meditation to overcome the mental barriers.

Kyle Kuzma is a great example. There are plenty of photos on the web that show him meditating while sitting on the bench at a game.

He’s using the process to calm his mind and prepare for the rush of getting called onto the court.

Former Lakers coach Phil Jackson introduced the practice to many of the team’s players back in the early-2000s.

And even their superstar player, LeBron James, uses it:

“…I got more and more comfortable with my inner self, inner spirits, and inner energy and things of that nature, I guess. So it works for me.”
